Also, the bright colorful art style is a bit of a turn off for me. When it comes to Fantasy games, I prefer the more realistic tone of Skyrim, and Dragon Age. Personal preference though, and not a knock on Amalur in any way.
That said, I am intrigued enough by the combat and class customization to give it a look once the price drops. Helps that R.A. Salvatore is involved.
