He did throw in the little stat of while the Padres are ranked #1 by him, they don't have any Top 25 prospects which means nobody really huge is there. Although he did counter it by saying overall the Padres have some nice talent and the expectation won't be really high which could make the payoff huge if it works out in the end.
He ranked the Red Sox as 18th which makes sense since they spend most of the time developing a certain position than overall. Ends up hurting them overall and also got ranked as last in the division as a result (1 spot below the Orioles).
Speaking of the Red Sox, they lost out on Roy Oswalt because he doesn't want to play in a potentially cold-weather area late in the season or playoffs. He didn't care about the money or the state of the team for his decision. Oswalt himself even lowered his asking price from around the $14 million per year range to now just $10 million per year for the remaining teams left in the bidding.
