It's a lot different from SB 42, where the Giants blocked a bunch of their assistants from trying to leave. They didn't let defensive backs coach Peter Giunta interview for a D-coordinator job so he's been stuck on the Giants since and he never got another chance.

Old QB coach Chris Palmer was also banned from interviewing from an offensive coordinator job so he fake retired to get out of his contract and spent a year in the UFL before becoming the Titans offensive coordinator.
