What gem works with what is kinda persnickety. Like, okay, I'm a mage, right? Focusing in staff and chakram? Well, you can't put ANY weapon gems in either as far as I know. I think it's only certain UTILITY gems that fit in either.

Other weapons appear to be less finicky, but I haven't played around as much. I've been told certain items can be crafted with epics, yes, but what I couldn't tell you because none of my attempts have worked.

One of the reasons I bought one of the two items I did was that it had an epic gem slot. Quite naturally, my reaction was FUCK YEAH.
