Meteor is also a real game changer. It's a top-tier spell that does explosive and massive fire damage in an area. It's about the closest thing the game has to a win button, barring Reckoning since you can't use it anywhere near as frequently. I mostly use it as a nuissance button, to help me navigate when a cave or castle is pissing me off. Run into a mob and just want to get out of there? Meteor. major yellow enemies will survive with a lot of health (Prismere troll), others may survive with a little (Tuatha), but it disposes of most and makes the rest less of a hassle.
