I think you have to split it into two groups: those who were in their prime before the year 2008 and those who have dominated the sport after the year 2008. '08 is a good cut off point because in that year and the end of '07 Couture, Liddell, Tito and Hendo all started their decline and better athletes like Rashad and Lesnar emerged. Plus, MMA has changed so much in terms of what it takes to be successful and have longevity.
