Damn, I really wish Jake had kept himself sober. Like KK said, lying not-so-deep underneath the "bitter old junky" rambling on semi-coherently, there's still traces of a truly great mind, someone who could have done miracles for the business if he'd kept his nose clean.
Could you imagine what would've been if a sober Jake had been on the booking team for WWF or WCW?
