I never minded the idea of ECW reunion shows in the past - the fans were eager to get nostalgic and the performers seemed into it. But in 2012, a lot of wrestlers are turning down the bookings and the vast majority of the ECW Originals are in their 40s, several even pushing 50. Few of them can put on watchable matches. And because of both of those factors, there's little choice but to bring in some indy guys to fill in, who instantly get booed because they weren't from ECW.

ECW reunion shows seemed cool in 2005/2006 when the promotion had only been closed for a few years. Hell, the TNA PPV they did for ECW in 2010 wasn't even that bad and seemed to go over well with the fans in attendance. But now even the loyal ECW mutants crapped on the show. It's probably time to just put an end to ECW for good.
