Watching WWE back in 1996 when Austin beat the crap outta Jake Roberts.
and claimed to fame after shouting the words "Austin 3:16 says I just whooped your ass". After that night he was running wild all over WWE.

Now I was thinking if Austin wasn't facing Jake at the final,
would he be over? I mean his Ringmaster gimmick did not turn out at all.

Views on it?.
