I've seen comparisons drawn between Tensai and Umaga that I sort of agree with. Both returned to the WWE after stints away in Japan with cheesy out-dated gimmicks from overseas that we are meant to boo "just because." Their ring work after initially returning leaves people a bit under-whelmed knowing that they can "do more." Also, they have taken old-school moves that shouldn't be cool in 2012 and have "brought them back."

Tensai will eventually get over when he gets a bit more comfortable and starts having awesome matches with the right opponents. Cesaro will get over quicker because he's in a storyline. Teddy Long is such a sympathetic dude, and Cesaro just totally stole his woman.
