This outcome is so obvious that I can't help but expect it not to happen. WWE has been all about the swerve these past months, it just seems unlikely that would blatantly setup a scenario so clearly.
Then again, it's possible that things turn out exactly as expected. It could be a convoluted method of swerving all of the recent swerves by being predictable. The fans would expect something else to occur, only to get the already apparent outcome, and nothing more, thus continuing the company's trend of swerving its fans.
All that of course makes this entire conversation moot.
