Nava has that spot and he's been playing pretty well. There would be no real benefit in terms of fielding stats or batting to replace Nava with Youks since Nava is a better fielder and their batting stats are almost the same.
Youks real value is at 1B since he's Gold-Glove quality there and above average at 3B although tends to commit a bunch more errors at 3B.
Gonzalez was moved mostly to keep his bat in the lineup and to ensure Ortiz had a bat during Interleague and critical games.
