I think it has something also to do with Cena's lack of appearances or wrestling too. I'm not the biggest Cena fan out there, but I'm not blind to his contribution to ratings.
You're right, this is the time TNA needs to not be fucking around, and so far, they have been screwing up much less than normal, and WWE has been screwing up more by sticking to what they overdo the best.
