Turbonegro play a very good set.
Soulfly take the stage, shortly after we hear that while Slayer there, they are without a crew, and have been moved to the 2nd stage.
Machinehead take Slayer's spot on the festival, while Hatebreed play Machineheads slot.
Luckily, Drowning Pool's set went ahead as planned, and were joined by Soil for a band duet of Halo.
By the time Slipknot take the stage, things seem to have sorted themselves out. The times are running a little late, but smoothly nonetheless.
I've heard on the Download forums that Creeping Death was played. I honestly don't remember it if it was.

Erm, I was at Donnington Download on Sunday, what day were you? If you were at the same Download and the same day, you saw something else to me!
The Ill Nino/Turbonegro thing was true yes, but Hatebreed playing Machine Head's previous slot? Cuz I swore I saw DamagePlan play! Unless Hatebreed/DamagePlan are 6 and two 3's?
Slayer being set back for another hour was another cock up, after the first cock up, they were swapped with Taking Back Sunday and thus played after them.
Taking Back Sunday...oh dear.
Yeah, Metallica did do Creeping Death, Hetfield fu>cked up after the "Die, die, die" bit
It was a challenge to overcome for Metallica really, and I feel they overcame it and put on a good show, shame the set list was about 1 hour short.
EDIT: Joey and Lombardo were amazing replacements, but I was actually expecting Vinnie Paul of DamagePlan to play rather than Lombardo. Still, they played extremely well.
