Only hate when its over done like how the WWE had for a short where every show contained a Brodus squash, a Tensai squash, and a Ryback squash and felt more like a waste of time than making all 3 look really great. Also when it doesn't really lead to anything long term and the big man or monster type wrestler gets forgotten pretty quickly.
I suppose a jobber, by definition, would rarely or never be in contention for a title. Jobbers make the minor title holders look better by providing a bottom tier of wrestlers on which the holders of the least prestigious belts are elevated; the minor titles lose significance if almost every guy on the roster has been shown capable of winning one of them. Also, the use of jobbers reduces unemployment among the pro wrestling community.
