First off, I don't think he's having any sort of "streak" sure he's undefeated since his debut but thats true of most wrestlers. Brodus Clay and Ryback have "streaks" Antonio is just being introduced and the best way to introduce a new wrestler is to have him win.
When I saw Claudio Castagnoli wrestle in ROH I was positive that he would one day be a main eventer in the WWE. After seeing him in the WWE I'm still pretty sure of that. The guy has a good look, he's talented in the ring, he can talk and he's unique in the fact that he is Swiss and that will allow him to stand out when the WWE wants to push him.
I don't think he needs to be in the main event (or even on PPVs) for right now. I think now is just his time to look good in the ring and have a little feud with Teddy Long that only takes place on Smackdown. But eventually he is going to be a reliable upper-mid carder for the WWE for a long time. And then after that he will get a few main events under his belt.
He's talented and he will go far but right now there are a lot of guys who are more interesting and deserving for higher spots, those people need to settle themselves out before Antonio can find his place.
