I like him AND I like how he's being booked.

Back in the day, TV was filled almost exclusively with squash matches. And not matches filled with impressive feets and crazy spots like a Ryback squash... matches like Jake Roberts vs ... Glen... Williams...

And it got people over. Now people bitch because 2 minutes of TV time is taken up by Ryback tossing jobbers around a ring to show his power? People are too impatient these days. They want Ryback to do a couple weeks of squashes, a couple weeks of midcard, then hit the main event. They want Wade Barrett to win THE WORLD TITLE like 2 years into his existence in WWE as if he's the second coming of Ric Flair or something. NOW NOW NOW!

There's nothing wrong with a slow build to get a guy's character ingrained in your head before he grows to the next level.
