Brodus Clay is likable enough to get over big like Santino but he's got the look to make Vince jump at the chance to put the title on him
Johnny Curtis is just awesome in every way. It all comes down to if the company realizes this. He's a good looking guy, he oozes charisma and he's fun to watch in the ring. The way he sells and the way he presents himself in the ring is unique too. If it were up to me, everything I do with his character at this very moment is with the idea in mind to slowly build him to be the next big thing.
Ryback is the obvious choice. He's not only a sure champion within the next year or so as long as he stays healthy but he's a sure WrestleMania main eventer in my mind.
Those are the three I can see who would fit the mould. You never know though. There have been some random title holders that no one would have ever pegged years before they won it.
I'm not sure why Kofi is such a popular choice. Nothing screams "future WWE/World champ" to me and in his years in the company, it's always seemed like they've liked him being on TV but there's no sign that a long-term push is in the cards. I can't see him being a champ. Maybe in one of those "Holy fuck, that just happened!" moments but I could see that with a lot of guys. And I don't think it would be long term.
