I laughed at that comment about the rock being stale also, funny really but i do agree with the starter of this thread in some ways i mean here's an example:

The World Heavyweight Title should be on a fighting champion like Chris Benoit
NOW(literally the day after wrestlemania aswell)
Chris Benoit does not draw, he's too stale.
But ofcourse you have to take into account that not everybody has the same opinion as yourself or someone else.
