You are correct......but at some point, the WWE has to realize that "smoothing the edges of any anti hero character" only hurts them. However - I'm not suggesting that Punk be an anti hero. I'm suggesting that Punk flat out acts like a heel......and shoots on everyone and anyone......regardless of how the fans react.
I think thats Ortons big failing, he can cut a decent promo but it's hit and miss at times.

I actually thought that was where they were going after Raw, building him up as the main heel and giving the adults someone to cheer, putting him against Cena means it's almost certain he'll get cheered by a large chunk of the audience regardless.
