To me the answer is in your second post. All of those other guys admitted to using PED's. How long was McGwire out of site before admitting he used? To my knowledge Bonds, Sosa, Sheffield or Palmeiro never admitted what they supposedly did. If they did Bonds would likely have a job tomorrow.
