I openly watch Adventure Time and Regular Show. I don't see how you could think that a "bunch" of us pretend don't see the appeal.

Adult males who enjoy this show are a niche of a niche. When other adult males say that they don't get it, it's probably because they DON'T GET IT.

Hell, I watch Powerpuff Girls with my kids. It's still entertaining, but I wouldn't go on a Powerpuff Girl forum and rant about it or make fan-fiction.

You shouldn't try to make everyone out to be closeted pony fans.
