If anyone should get credit for "making" Punk (other than Punk himself since the sit down promo is literally the one moment that "made" him), it should be John Cena. If Hardy had "made" Punk, Punk wouldn't have been potentially on his way out the door after becoming lost in the shuffle a year and a half after the Hardy feud.
