upon looking it up, you are correct. Hansen is often erroneously credited with inventing the move. He was mainly the one credited from changing it from a transition move to being viewed as a legitimate finish.
Again, still worthy of Hall of Fame-ery due to his influence on the likes of Nikita Koloff, JBL, and to an extent even Ryback.
Then you go into his impact in Japan, perhaps the biggest Gaijin of all time out there.
