Seems to be (sort of) what they had planned for him to begin with, just being imposing dumb muscle for Big Johnny... likely why Super Dave kept mentioning his accomplishments in Japan, somehow hoping that translated into Tensai being a bigger deal.

But instead, the XL quote above could salvage that, factor into the "voice of the voice of the voiceless", give him something to do, present him as a "bouncer" to stave off Ryback for a bit, etc, etc...

In short, it could only help Giant Bernard than let him mire in jobber hell until being future endeavored.
