I think it was luck that got England so far without conceding. It just didn't hold out.

Trust me, when you're an Ireland fan you get used to playing against teams much better than yours, and you just can't play like that and expect your luck to hold. It nearly always breaks. Taking off Rooney and Scholes was a bad move.
