You could start whole angles over mustaches. Like Cody Rhodes is embarrassed that he can't grow a proper mustache, and begins attacking everybody with a good mustache.

Or you could even use it to drive a John Cena heel turn. Cena refuses to grow a mustache because his face must always be smooth, and all the other faces are like "Yo John, don't be a dick. Just grow a mustache" and Cena would be all "NEVERRRRRR" and snap and become a badass submission machine.
He could claim to not want to participate in Movember because of his contract with Gillette and all the money he would lose if he did participate in Movember.
