My problem is normally I am not interested in a game until just before release unless I have been following the series for awhile (GTA, Bioshock, etc) I had absolutely no interest whatsoever in purchasing Halo up until a week before release because I never liked multiplayer Halo (The cousin we played with always kicked my ass)

A few people I know and a few on here were getting it and had only good things to say, I purchased it and I am satisfied completely now that I've gotten used to it. However I am comparing this to Halo 2, so I wasn't aware of the absence of dual wield and SMGS
