Honestly, if the CoD franchise would give 2 shits less about the FPS and incorporate vehicles OR more diversity between players (a la BF3) I might come back to the series. After I played BF3 online, I have never looked back. Played a bit at my brothers' houses, but not purchased the game itself.

There is something cool about being able to fly a jet/helo, or drive a tank/ATV, etc.

Also enjoy the land mines, C4 that actually blows stuff up and the functionality of SOFLAM. Oh yea, destructible environments, that would be another aspect that CoD needs to incorporate to "catch up".
