I was in a guild that did end-game content the same week new x-pacs released.

Thing is, with "casual" WoW, it will be boring just as quick as if you were raiding.

Causual will basically consist of : Dungeon Finder (if you actually want lewts worth having) battlegrounds (which become boring after about a week: subjective). Outside of doing Heroics and battlegounds, there is nothing for the "casual" player to truly play.

Fair warning, playing casually generally turns into raiding, and LFR (looking for raid) is fail due to pugs
