Bloody Monday. Do you think any of the GMs/owners who fired these coaches ended the call with "Happy New Years" or some other awkward pleasantry?
Crazy thing is, there might be more firings to come. I think Carolina would be foolish to keep Ron Rivera and not make a run at Andy Reid.
Are teams allowed to contact assistant coaches on teams that are currently in the playoffs or is there a moratorium on hiring? I can't remember. Hopefully, Dirk Koetter doesn't take any offers in the middle of this playoff run. I feel really good about the Dirty Bird's chances this year.
