Best advantage he has over the rest of the SEC is how easily he keeps developing NFL-quality defenses each year. LSU gets lucky maybe once every 3-4 years while Florida was really great for just 2 years.

Also helps that he's really close to Belichick to the point every offseason they hang out together a few times. Usually BB gives Saban defense advice and Saban gives him advice on what players to go after from the SEC for a draft.
