NFL - unless you are the Jaguars, you sell out most every home game, and you sure as hell sell out for the playoffs. No travel involved except for the Super Bowl

The idea of "hosting" a game closer to your school and/or fanbase is good. The problem is that wont always work. How was the attendance for the B1G championship in Indy this year? Shit. And those are supposed to be not one, but two teams from the area.

In your example above, can you imagine LSU fans going to Indy, Pasadena, then Miami? Thats alot to ask from a fan base. I'm not talking about "well they had a chance to "host" like everyone else," I'm saying that fewer tix get sold which no one wants to happen, especially the schools who are usually tasked with selling 10,000 tix themselves.
