Did you see Rip Hamilton, Outlaw?
He was running ALL OVER the court. Under the basket, circles, like he was on crack. You can't stop that. He burned the fuck out of GP or whoever was guarding him... drove and drove and drove. He hardly ever took jumpers, since they weren't falling.
Difference is, when he drove, he either was fouled, made it, or the miss was put back by Ben or Tayshaun.
Seriously. With all the offensive boards the Pistons got, and the PUTBACKS, that's a lot of fouls right there, when you're caught off guard and they do that shit to you, you're like WHAT!? oops?
And I saw Ben Wallace driving to the basket, so you know that the Pistons had the mindset to drive. They rarely settled for jumpers, and when they did?
That's right, putbacks. Every fucking time. They did not make all their shots, in fact they made a poor percentage... but their second chance points were so much higher than the Lakers'... when you have Prince boarding over Shaq, you know something's amiss.
Lakers must have had a collapse in the locker room after the Wolves series, because they seemed to hate each other the entire Finals. I mean wow.
I wonder if Shaq killed anyone in the locker room after the game. Fisher was like "I'll talk to the people out here since I don't want to be in there

"
Also, the Lakers never drove to the hoop. When they did, they scored or got fouled. Just like the Pistons. The falls were ALWAYS CALLED. However, the Pistons swarmed so heavily in the half-court that the drives were impossible. Everyone was afraid of Ben, and there were no picks set.
Pistons set the pick and roll, which would leave people free to drive to the hoop. When there's nobody on you, or your man was beaten, he will foul you. That's what happens.
The thing is, with the Wolves... all I'm saying is, KG gets fouled on every play and it's not called.
Shaq gets the calls and Kobe gets the fouls, but that's it. I want the refs to give more props to the best player in the friggin league.
