I gotta imagine his image and fame had some kind of effect.

Note: I'm siding with the fraud here; I'm just with posts that say, "Sure he raised money for cancer research but..."

I hate to beg the question here, but was his cheating worth the money raised for a good cause? Is the shaming of competition equal to the positive impact on cancer donations?
