He turned himself into a celebrity brand, and now he's getting the celebrity attention, oh no, please don't look at me, I'm just a simple man, I defrauded my sponsors and lied under oath, why are you being so harsh, I brought cycling to the civilised world. I get other people to pay money for charity, just like Jimmy Savile, by lying to them.
