If Del Rio used that kind of stuff more often I'd agree with you, but it just stank of desperation - not on Del Rio's part, but the writers'. I might have missed something during my multi-tasking, but it appeared to be the plan from the get-go with them, not a "we've tried everything and still can't keep show down - OMG! Duct tape! This'll work!"
