While EA in general might be loosing interest in the Wii U, at least their sub-studios are still interested in making games for it. Criterion Games said the reason Need for Speed: Most Wanted will be arriving on the Wii U is because of the Gamepad giving them some fresh ideas to do for that port.

Also ends up being the first Criterion to appear on a Nintendo console since Burnout 2 in 2002.

Nintendo states starting with F-Zero, every game for the 30 cents promotion will run in 60Hz for all regions after listening to complaints from Europe when they got the worse version of Balloon Fight (50Hz).
