Here comes the first real bad news about the PS4 and unlike the no BC with PS3 games, this one involves PSN itself.

According to Destructoid, Sony stats they have the ability to honor those purchases through their cloud service but won't guarantee it nor guarantee all the games that was on PSN for PS3 will show up on PS4.

For comparisons with Nintendo, the 3DS didn't allow everything from DSiware to be transferable at launch but the wait wasn't too long (a month?) while everything from the Wii was transferable but only could be playable within the "virtual Wii" and not as part of the Wii U.
