Current rumor from NBC Sports is the 49ers will go after Reed if Dashon Goldson ends up leaving them. Reed's current agent ia also the agent for both the GM and coach of the 49ers.

Goldson himself is currently meeting with the Bucs to see what they might be willing to offer him. Lions are also very interested in him.
