I can't talk about the rest of the Halo Fans, but me, I've never liked FPS.
Hell I had never heard/seen any screen or hype surrounding HAlo when I bought my X Box. The only reason I bought it was the cooperative play promised in the package.
Now who doesn't love that kind of gameplay (well, unless you have no friends or brothers in my case) I mean there are few cooperative ones, and most of them are vs. So I jumped at the chance to play this.
And I was blown away by it. It was really good! I mean, good story, good gameplay, and I am not jumping in any bandwagon when I say it's one of the best games I've played EVER. I mean Golden Eye is FPS king, but all the fun I had playing with HALO can't be taken away by some X Box haters, for all the good times and fun it gave me, HALO is #1 in my book, and that is why it's so good to me.
