I think that the opening match will either be Jericho vs. Fandango or the WWE Tag Team Title match. To be honest, the tag match is probably the best choice. Jericho and Fandango will have a great match, but I've got a feeling that Fandango might actually win that, and I sort of think a strong babyface victory in the opening match of WrestleMania is a good idea to get the crowd pumped. Bryan makes Ziggler submit there and then Kane sets his pyros off as it switches over to his music. Bryan then does his own Kane risey-arm thing and the music switches back to his. Kane then does his again and it goes back to his theme. Just a little silly comedy for the kiddies.

Later on in the show, Del Rio and Jack Swagger have a full-length World Heavyweight Title match, giving the feud the proper blow-off it deserves. Del Rio is made to look like a golden god in the ring against Swagger, and makes him tap out not just once, but twice (once while the referee is distracted with Zeb Colter). You put Del Rio over strong here as the new Hispanic hero in WWE. Del Rio has a big celebration and Ricardo goes to announce Del Rio as champion in the biggest way imaginable, but he is attacked by Dolph Ziggler, who has jumped through the crowd. Del Rio is furious with Ricardo, but is ambushed from behind by Big E. Langston who hits the Big Ending on Del Rio. Ziggler announces he is cashing in and goes for the pin, but Del Rio kicks out.

Ziggler then tries to do everything he can to put Del Rio down, but Ziggler either kicks out or counters it. They actually have the longest cash-in match in WWE history, with Del Rio actually making a babyface comeback and going for a moonsault from the top rope, only for Big E. to pull Ziggler out of the way. Dolph then hits a new finishing move (I'm not sure why a new one -- maybe just to show that he's growing as a performer, or so that Del Rio has no kayfabe way of knowing that it is coming) and gets the three to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.

Ziggler wrestles two good Mania matches in one night, loses one, but manages to walk out of WrestleMania the World Heavyweight Champion and with an expected rivalry with Alberto Del Rio.
