Overall, it was a really well-wrestled Mania. One of the best in-ring Manias in years. But for whatever reason, it didn't feel like Mania. It had the huge set, and it had the celebrities and the live music, it had all the usual suspects in the big matches, but it just didn't have that biggest-night-of-the-year feel to it. When I wasn't busy cursing out AT&T for having to reset my modem four or five times during the course of the night, I was entertained by what I was watching, so I'm satisfied. I just wish WWE could figure out how to recapture the energy and enthusiasm they were showing two summers ago and make their big shows feel like a big deal again, rather than telling us they are.
