Most Mets fans are understanding about Zack Wheeler and Travis d'Arnaud starting in Triple A. First off, there are valid baseball reasons for it (Wheeler's got some command issues he still needs to work out and d'Arnaud barely has any Triple A experience) but moreover it's just not worth sacrificing a whole year of service for an extra 3 weeks in the big leagues. Not when the team is realistically not in the same stratosphere as the top 2 teams in their own division.
It's been a non-issue anyway since the Mets' catching corps has been great so far, as has the starting pitching outside of Laffey's start yesterday. Wheeler and d'Arnaud will both be at Citi Field at some point this season. Be cool if they both debuted in the same game, actually.
