Apparently the WWE has signed Rebecca Knox to a developmental deal. I had actually thought she had stopped wrestling. This has made me so happy.
She's also been a dream-signing of mine for the Divas Division. Now I can only hope they re-sign Kharma and Beth Phoenix while also bringing in Saraya Knight to feud with her daughter Paige (actually think that could be huge) and then train some of the younger girls. And sign Cheerleader Melissa to be an ass-kicking anti-Diva. And sign Hamada and Ayumi Kurihara (just going by "Ayumi" in WWE) as a heavy-hitting joshi and a plucky happy-go-lucky anime-style babyface. And a masked female to add some intrigue to the division as its "Lucha Libress."
Since I read that the Knockouts Division was the top-rated part of TNA's programming for ages and how effectively they put together a division back in the day, I've always wanted to see the WWE get their act together on the female front and put together a Divas Division that has interesting characters and talent littered throughout. Maybe the girls won't get to headline RAW like Lita/Trish ever did, but as buffers between main event feuds and as ways to pad out about 7 1/2 hours of programming each week, I think they could be used quite effectively.
I still think Kharma could be an actual draw for the WWE, given that there has been no one like her in the company's history.
