THis is only a good thing if there are things to do in both the city and the countryside. A single BMX race through the countryside wouldn't count.
I have to disagree, what I loved about San Andreas was the areas in between you could just have a nice drive through which were less busy. The races through these areas were simple as well since you didn't have to deal with ridiculous traffic. You could easily bypass them with aircraft as well.
