I was reading a post on reddit that drew connections between some of the scenes this episode too.
Arya shooting her arrows at the straw man in the same places that joffrey shot Ros. Both for the same purpose, but both with different intentions and reasons.
The 'skinning' argument between the two women and Theon being skinned.
And more, but I can't think of them and I lost the comment.
But ugh.. that scene literally made me instantly sick to my stomach. I could watch
because he deserved it. It was cringe-worthy and you feel bad for him after the last couple episodes revealed an aspect we didn't get to see in the books. But seeing that brief reveal of what Joffrey did made my stomach drop and feel genuinely sad.
