Its obvious he didnt mean shooting someone in the literal sense. If gay dudes want me to be accepting and tolerant (which I am) Then they damn sure better be tolerant and accepting of the fact that me and Jay want our sons to grow up and have sex with females, exclusively, that is the only way that it can be fair to both sides.
