Malenko didn't have that ridiculous "I'm so angry!" face (It might have been better if it wasn't coupled with him talking like he's reading directly from a cue card). That puts him over Benoit.

Plus the fact that Malenko was stellar at his job as a guy who was as a serious, no bullshit, intimidating force in the cruiserweight division and was never pushed as a main eventer for some God awful reason. But that's more just retarded booking at fault than Benoit.
