Interesting article. I think Extreme Rules will turn out to be a really good show. I'm actually not as certain as everyone else that Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns will be walking out WWE Tag Team Champions though. Once The Shield beat Team Hell No who is there left for them to face? Team Hell No? I have no doubt that Rollins & Reigns will eventually win the titles from Kane & Daniel Bryan, but I could actually kind of see them losing to them at Extreme Rules to give the fans a glimmer of hope that The Shield can be stopped.
Dean Ambrose would also look good as the only member of The Shield holding championship gold (for the time being). All three just suddenly having belts might be jarring to some casual fans. Have Ambrose beat Kofi Kingston in what turns out to be an impromptu Ladder Match (ordered by Teddy Long to continue the "he's making big decisions he perhaps shouldn't" angle) after The Shield help him out. Kofi Kingston attacks Dean Ambrose and takes him out of the equation for the Tornado Tag later. Things are crazy in the tag, as you can imagine, and it looks like Reigns is going for the kill on Daniel Bryan with the Spear, but Kane tosses Seth Rollins into it and Reigns Spears his buddy. Kane then big boots the surprised Reigns, which knocks him into The "NO!" Lock from Daniel Bryan. Kane Chokeslams Rollins for good measure and Reigns is forced to tap out.
The Shield talk about regrouping in the following weeks. Kofi Kingston teams with Team Hell No against The Shield and Reigns manages to pin Kofi Kingston with a Spear in that match. Ambrose beats Kingston with his headlock driver finisher on a Main Event or a SmackDown to retain the US Title cleanly and put an end to that dispute. Reigns & Rollins continue to team together and beat Epico & Primo one week and then Tons of Funk another. Team Hell No vs. The Shield is confirmed again for Payback, which is where Reigns & Rollins manage to win their first championship together. Ambrose can defend the US Title against Chris Jericho or something, if he is available. It'd be Jericho chasing the only title he hasn't held in his WWE career, and Ambrose vs. Jericho is sure to be a good match.
